You could make a little sled for a 9in grinder. If you can orient these to mostly let the weight of the grinder do the work. Other option would be sled for portable bandsaw, same deal. Not sure how fast it would cut through weld metal though the one time I used one seemed to do suprisingly good. Depending how you built that sled if you had them
